Slow progress

Thought I would share my "progress" - the only time allowed for hand quilting is a few hours of an evening and I am a slow quilter at best. Working on block #7. Have to say though - I am really developing some genuine love for this quilt - knowing each of its little glitches aside - and it knows all my thoughts and emotions. Like Aunt Jane - "oh Lordy - if this quilt could only talk"

Happy stitching everyone - is it Spring yet??

  1. This was kind of intimidating to quilt, it's so big. You have the right idea - a little each day and it will be finished before you know it!

  5. I can only hand quilt in the evenings, after I've spent some time machine quilting for customers, otherwise I feel too guilty. Between BTCT and an applique project, there just isn't enough hours in the evening. Love the circles along the seam lines, really adds to the grid work.

  6. Its going to be a gorgeous quilt--I laughed at the thought of that quilt witnessing things you NEVER want anyone to know.
