Quilting...

5 blocks quilted. Before I move on I plan on using my Hera marker to do a cross hatch in the background. I'll go back and quilt the 5 blocks then move on. So far I'm really enjoying it although the size makes me feel like I'm in a wrestling match sometimes. Especially with this center block!!

  3. Curious as to how far apart the basting is? Your layers look so nice and smooth. Just got my top back from the long-arm basting - the threads are so lose and 4-5" between tackings. I am getting caught on everything - frustrating. Thinking I need to add some hand basting throughout - ugh!

    1. That stinks. My machine basting is about the same as yours but my stitches may be a little smaller so I am not having a problem. I paid about $100 for basting so I would be very unhappy if I had to add hand stitches.
