Block 25

Here it is-sideways just like the original! LOL Will anybody put there's in the quilt this way?

I used an online mosaic to play with the setting a little. I'm not going to go insane about it. I think this is how my blocks will be going together.

Woo-Hoo!! One more border!!

  1. You have done well. They are looking just fabulous. I like the way you have set them out. That is such an achievement and I think you are the first.

Can you share the mosaic bit; how to get to it and then what!! I would love to be able to do that with my blocks as well.

  2. Lori, woohoo to you! The block looks beautiful. I, too, was going to ask you about the "mosaic". These blocks are pretty big and I have no where to lay them down and get a good perspective of them let alone figure out how I want to lay them out. I would love find out where to get that so that I can do the same as you. I am almost done with block #25, but haven't started the borders yet. I will be posting my picture within the next day or two....or maybe three.

  3. A huge round of applause, Lori! Congratulations on being the first to arrive at this point of the project...well done! Had lost count of how many baskets or urns there were so it is great to see how you placed everything.

  4. Seeing all the blocks together gives a good view of what the quilt is going to look like in the end. The green stripe is still my favorite fabric that you have used.

  5. I won't put my wreath in sideways, Way to go, I'm picking away at my 17th block. I realized I've been working on this for 16 months and I've stayed on task to one a month. In another year I'll hopefully have the blocks done, then I can work on the borders! I like the setting, it looks very balanced.

  8. I'll put my bow at the bottom. I haven't made all the blocks exactly like the patterns, either. I'm not a matchy-matchy kinda person but sideways would bother me.
