I just finished putting on the flower centers. I went a little larger than the pattern, but I didn't feel like making a smaller template and had 3/4" circles available, so that's what I went for.
This was the third of my five "prepped" blocks. I am sure I won't be getting another one done before the new block is posted, but I don't think three in one month is too bad.
My daughter's wedding quilt came back from the quilter Friday, so you know what I will be doing for now. BTCT blocks will have to wait yet again until that quilt is 100% finished.
Mimi, this is so pretty. I particularly like the gingham buds and I think the flower centres are just right. Sometimes small centres look too pokey.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your daughter's wedding quilt - the binding will soon be done. Will we get to see a photograph of the quilt?
Good luck on the binding.
ReplyDeleteLove the little red check flowers.
Very pretty block, and I think the centers are perfect!!
ReplyDeleteThree in one month....I am in awe! It is taking me forever to get one done. I also love the check buds.
ReplyDeleteYour wreath is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the wedding details!!
I really like the red and white 'gingham' you've been using in your blocks. The flower centers don't look at all big to me. You did a nice job on this one!
ReplyDeleteYour latest block is so adorable - I am with everyone in thinking the red & whit check is so perfect
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Looking forward to seeing your daughter's wedding quilt too.
Ditto the red and white check. It really sparks up the whole block. It will be nice to have your daughter's wedding quilt finally finished. Then you can really concentrate on BTCT!!! Only 3 blocks in one month...
