Block #4

I got the finishing touches on block #4 this weekend. I've never used a solid so predominately in a quilt, but I'm liking it!! I prepped block 5 and started it while waiting for my car to get serviced yesterday. I'm moving right along with it.

  1. I really like the red solid, good job! I thought this block was a little weird with those string things but the more I see the better it looks. I am still on my first block.

  2. Love the fabric choices. I'm using 2 reds and one green. I was going to leave the red curls off, but now I dont' know! Nice job.

  3. I am thinking this was my favorite block so far and I love your solid red. Of course, red is my favorite color, but your red in this block is very striking. Love your block.

  5. That is a different block. Your fabric choice is very clever and attractive. I might just copy that myself if I ever get to #4.
