Hi everyone - Mrs. Conservative here...finished Block #5 this week - each one continues to be pretty quiet and staying in my original decision of red and green....still, pretty happy with the way things are going. Have #6 laid out despite other projects that are pressing. BTCT is just like potato chips...once you start....
I am really enjoying seeing each of your blocks as they get posted - have a great week and happy stitching!

Very pretty. I agree, these blocks are like potato chips. Once I get my wedding quilt done, I will be back full force on my blocks, too. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHave you starting stalking the site yet? Just in case the next block was posted early? If you find yourself doing that (like me!) then we are in real trouble!
ReplyDeleteI am sticking to the red and green with a little gold/cheddar when needed.
LOVE your basket fabric. This is looking great. I'm sticking to mainly red & green, but putting in some cheddar and chrome for some variety. Plus I'll be making my grapes various shades of purple. I started prepping circles for that one even though I'm just starting #8.
ReplyDeleteYour block is very charming. I also like your basket fabric and just how you positioned it. I can't start a basket block until I have decided on the fabric there. Shame, really because I like those baskets!
ReplyDeleteThe basket fabric was a great choice. Seeing what everyone is choosing is great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely block! The fabric is perfect for the basket.
ReplyDeleteI love the vase fabric, too, and the variety in the leaves.
